About me
I'm Sam an experienced seamstress from Plymouth specialising in Bridal.
I have a 1st Class BA Honours degree in Fashion and Textiles from the university of Plymouth. I showed at New Designers and Graduate London Fashion week. I worked at London Fashion week but the big city wasn't for me so l moved back to the South West. I worked for a tailors in Bath for 5 years working on a range of items such as men's suits and patching denim jeans. I also rework vintage clothing for the lovely people at Sobeys Vintage Clothing.

However, my main career has been 12 wonderful years at my dream job Carina B Couture altering the most beautiful dresses! At Carina’s, I mainly worked with Suzanne Neville, Caroline Castigliano, Sassi Holford and Temperley altering dresses, helping to create bespoke dresses and made to measure gowns.

After many years of only working for other people, I have finally decided to open up my books to everyone... so get in touch if you need anything altering.
I’m lucky enough to have a studio at home, a cosy quiet space to sew and see my lovely brides. So if you want to
feel like the most beautiful version of yourself in the best fitting dress you will ever wear contact me with any questions as I'd be happy to help.
When I'm not working away, I spend my time with my fabulous fiancé, 3 adorable children and 2 super cute dogs - none of which are allowed anywhere
near the work studio!
